CENTRE — Cherokee Electric Cooperative recently expanded its bill payment options to include the Internet, according to a recent press release.

A visit to the Cherokee Electric website will get cooperative members started. A click on the "Bill Pay $" quick link will bring up the instructions. Once registration is complete, members will receive a verification e-mail.

Members should then follow the link in the e-mail to activate their online account, according to the release. Members are then ready to view their bill, make payment, or request changes.

If a member has any problems with registration or any questions about the online payment option they can call the Cooperative office at 256-927-5524 or send an e-mail to csr@cherokee.coop.
