The Gadsden State Community College website (www.gadsdenstate.edu) has a new face with enhanced features that will allow current and future students to navigate throughout the site with ease.

Gadsden State invites the community to take an online road trip and enjoy the interactive games, photo galleries, video student tours and more. The site is designed to be fun and more informative for students, alumni and friends.

The renovation of the Web site began last fall. Venture Marketing of Gadsden and Third Wave Digital from Macon, Ga. were instrumental in the design of the new site. Student auditions were held and six energetic students were chosen to be the video tour guides. The students who guide you through the site are Caiti Gattis, Jared Brown, Tiffany Valentine, Nila Holland, Katlin Higgins and Alessandro Soares.

Student opinions and surveys played a key role in the changes when considering the new design statistics.

“We wanted an edgy, up-beat website that our students would enjoy and visitors would find appealing and informative. Our new site gives future students a glimpse of college life,” said President Darryl Harrison.

Computer programmer Jay Johnson has worked avidly to transform the design into reality and make the site user friendly. The change included the transformation of over 55,000 web pages.
