Local educators Gary and Kay Davis are planning a cooking and dining tour of Italy in 2011 and invite others to join them.

" We have engaged a trip through Tuscany departing from Atlanta on Saturday, June 18, 2011, and returning on Wednesday, June 29," Kay Davis told The Post last week. "The total cost of the trip is $3,860 which includes round trip airfare, hotel accommodations at first-class hotels, all in country transportation, three wine tastings, all evening meals including five three-course dinners, a Tuscan cooking class, daily buffet breakfast, and guided sightseeing trips in Florence, Siena, and Perugia."

Davis said optional trips include excursions to Assisi, the Sistine Chapel and an optional dinner in Rome with the Tenors.
