PIEDMONT — The town of Piedmont plans to host an all-day gospel singing and benefit for victims of last month's tornado at Veterans Park on Memorial Drive.

"Praise Him Through the Storm" will begin May 28 at 9 a.m. and conclude at 5 p.m., and will feature a variety of musical acts, including the Heaven Seekers, Hope's Journey, Stanley Turner with special guest Broken Vessel, the Perkins family and Crystal River.

There will also be performances by local church drama teams, fire trucks and ambulances for the kids to enjoy, face painting and a bake sale. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be on sale, as well.
