Final WEIS End Zone Show of 2011 live tonight at 6 p.m.

By KURT DURYEA

CENTRE — The WEIS Radio End Zone show will air its final football show of the season live tonight from the Gridiron in Centre.

Co-host Kurt Duryea and Nolen Sanford will welcome two former Auburn football players to the show. In recognition of Saturday's annual matchup between Alabama and Auburn, former hometown Auburn standouts Brad and Marc Johnson will join their father, legendary head coach Bobby Joe Johnson,  on the air to share their memories of past Iron Bowls.

Nolen and Kurt will also break down Friday night’s high school semifinal playoff pairings. The fortunate few teams that remain all six classifications will battle for the blue trophy at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa Dec. 1-2.

It’s also time to reveal the identity of the anonymous sixth grader, who has bested our panel of media experts in picking winners in the SEC football games. So far, the superior student holds the edge over Shannon Fagan from the Herald, The Post’s Scott Wright and Sanford. Tonight the youngster will have to make his (or her) picks live against the entertaining panel.

Join us live at the Gridiron in Centre, or listen in on WEIS 990 AM, 100.5 FM or via the internet stream at www.weis990am.com. The show begins at 6 p.m.
